PoP's Diner is theee Best

A few weekends ago me and Evanka treked to Williamsburg to go eat at SEA but as always its too loud,crowded and mixxy. So we walked around for like 20 minutes and found our new spizzy. It's called PoP's diner but it looks like a little cafe type thing. The food was cheap and tasty. They had great music playing and friendly staff. From now own PoP's is our spot.

Introducing : Cirino

Thanks to my Tasia is was introduced to a young man named Jason Cirino. A few weeks later Tasia sent me a link to his song called BREATHE. I played it and loved it so I scheduled an interview. Here it is.Video of part of the interview is at the bottom enjoy.

What is your reason for making music?How long have you been rapping/making music?

Music is my outlet. It's the way I feel comfortable expressing myself. I've been writing for about 2 years. I wrote for such a long time to find myself as an artist. I've been recording for a year and a half.

How did you settle/choose the name Cirino?

"Well its actually my last name, so yeah "

What are your feelings towards rap/hip-hop now? Who do you feel is really representing?

..."I feel hip-hop is on its way to a state of improvement thanks to the new artist that are emerging.." I'm listening to a lot of Thelodious Lodon , Drake and J.Cole. I tend to favor the new artist.


Who do you want your music to reach? And what do you want people to get from your music?

I want my music to reach everyone. I have no specific target area. I try to be as versatile so anyone would want to listen. I feel people should take what the want from my music. "Music is solely for mood."

What are your plans for the upcoming year? Where do you see Cirino in the near future?

.." I plan to work work work work .." You're my first official interview , I have a couple lined up. It's gonna be a hectic year but I'm looking forward to the winter.

What advice would you give for other upcoming artist?

..Stay true to yourself and surround yourself with Positive people...

Love...

What is love??? ... Its been really on my mind this week to examine what us humans percieve as loving a person. The bible states..Corinthians Chap 13v4-8

"4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails...."

If this is the true essence of what love should be then can we say we LOVE someone. I dont believe that you can truly love someone and cheat on them repeatedly or speak harshly to them on a daily basis. Selfish thoughts or actions are sometimes a highlight point where you need to check out whats going on in yourself first before you say those words to another person. The last verse really gets me " Love never fails..." is it possible that one part of us, that emotion can never fail us.

I've known "someone" since I was 12 and had a realationship with them starting at 16 and has recently come to a slow grind. I can say I love them because I will always care. But when we both started acting selfishly it was a sign that maybe the rock that once was love was chipping away.

I will end this little piece like this "It is okay to be alone."

Sometimes I fear this is Truth ... But I still have a little hope...Do you??
